Which bezel pendant setting would you choose?

Hi all! I'm looking for a diamond pendant with a budget of $1500 which, for the size I'm looking at (around the .6 mark) means I'm looking mostly at bluenile. I'd love to go to bgd like I did for my earrings, but it's not happening on this budget.

My question right now is about the setting...I like the look of a bezel, but I think the flipping I've read about would drive me nuts. I prefer the look of this one:

But I wonder if this one, while still a bezel, wouldn't flip:

Any advice?

I like the 1st one as well. I have a 3 stone like that single stone & I've never had any flipping issues. I think if it's too tight it might tend to flip more. I probably could shorten my chain but so far so good so I'm not going to rock the boat. LOL

Take a look at Stuller's website for more pendant ideas. Have you tried IDJ for a stone? I think they use Adwar Casting as well as Stuller.

Might be another option for you. :))

I prefer the look of the first as well... I have a bezel pendant and it never flips. It's all in the construction that allows it to "stay put", if you will. Do you want the bezel to be fixed, or would you like it to move? The fixed ones (like the first one) drive me crazy bc I'm always having to adjust them, whereas the one I have now just moves freely and stays in the center with no effort. :))

This is my bezel pendent. (1.01 ct, H, SI1 in 14K WG)
