I've decided that I want to order a plain comfort fit flat wedding band from eweddingbands.com, but I don't know which width to order- the 2 or 2.5mm. My e-ring measures 2mm at the bottom and near the diamond at the top, but on the sides it measures 2.3 mm. It all looks uniform and like it's the same width all the way around.

Attached is my e-ring and a picture e-weddingbands sent me show me the width difference for their 2 and 2.5mm flat band. Please vote which one you think would look better with my ring!

Thanks!

Crapola!!!! I don't know why I can't save and post the picture from e-wedding bands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll try to figure something out. It won't upload and let me post it. I feel computer-impaired!

I voted 2.5mm. I personally like the look of wider bands with thinner erings. This is probably because my wedding band is 9mm wide at the top and tapers to about 7mm underneath. My second band (cause my original has been worn down over the years) is 4mm but I'm a stacker, :D :appl:

Thanks for the votes so far! Looks like 2.5mm is in the lead! I think I'm leaning towards the 2.5mm, too, but I'm afraid it will look really thick...my diamond wedding band is pretty thick, and I think it overpowers my ering. I believe it's 4.5mm. Does anyone have a picture of a 2.5mm plain band they'd be willing to share with me?

Here's another picture of my e-ring from a distance for a different perspective:

I like the 2mm one - sorry! I like the symmetry of having the same width, then you can add a NICE BIG BLINGY eternity or 1/2 eternity later on!! Then the WB can be like a spacer.... just thinking ahead ;)) :Up_to_something:

For some reason, I think a 2mm is going to be more matchy, too. Deep down, I feel the 2.5 may look too wide, and I already have a wider wedding band.

Can a 2mm band be engraved on the inside (and still look legible)???

Totally!!!!

yes, they can engrave 2 mm, but they will do this with their standard font only. my band is 2.2 mm custom width from e-wedding bands and the engraving is legible :)

Can you post a pic of just your custom 2.2mm band? Maybe I'll go custom; although, I am hesitant because it can't be returned (even though I am being so nit-picky so I don't have to return in the first place).
