Quick! Everyone brainstorm! Where will we go for one day while Pricescope is down? Anyone have any bright ideas? I wonder if I can set up a Yahoo group for a day!

No Clue, Deb...but I settle in pretty well, anywhere.

In the interest of speed, and if *anyone* is interested, I started a group on Yahoo...

Group name: gemsnjewels
Group home page: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gemsnjewels
Group email: [email protected]

Thanks Win. Just in case I can't stand going cold turkey. Still, I have an exam tomorrow, so maybe this is an opportunity . . .

You could always avail yourselves of the highly erudite experience of DCC.

Maybe you could spice up the Yahoo group by inviting Gilbert.

No need. Gilbert will attend whether he is invited or not. However, if he does show up, could you please ban him and then humiliate him? Thanks!

Speaking of "where will we go", where will the folks who live along the coast in areas where Isabell might hit go? I'm on the PA side of NJ, so if it does hit NJ, the worst that would happen here is a loss of power. If we ever got flooding up here, we'd better just build an ark!

I remember what it was like living down south and how bad the coast gets battered during storms...forget about a big hurricane like this one.

Let's pray it passes. I'm a tad north of DC, in Maryland, but my elderly parents (late 70's) are on the Jersey Shore, on a little peninsula in Monmouth County. It can get wet and powerless there with little effort. So I've noticed your countdown - is this your first? I envy you - my baby is 7 and there'll be no more (barring an act of G-D). It seems like you're looking for it to be over - I LOVED being pregnant, though I could do without the aftereffects. Still, a small price to pay for such an amazing thing as a child.

Hopefully, it will come to pass; but, if not, I probably won't be seeing you guys for a while.

The last time a major "hurricane" tracked this way we were without power for over a week. Our power lines were under water.

I'm pretty much counting on losing power this time. The question is "how long?"

That said, I'm really praying for this thing to loose some steam. I fear for the outer banks & Hatteras. For that matter, anyone up the Cheasapeake.
