Where to re-sell wedding set in Chicago

I have been lurking here a couple months, admiring everyone's pretty jewelry, so when a friend at work mentioned he was having a hard time finding a place to re-sell a wedding set (unfortunately, his engagement fell through), I thought of the knowledgeable people at Pricescope. Does anyone know of a decent/fair place in Chicago where he could dispose of this ring? I have seen the set myself--it's a .47 carat H color/I clarity center stone in a 6-prong setting with 4 bead set diamonds on the shoulders. The wedding band has 5 bead set diamonds, I think also of H-I quality.

I would appreciate any ideas/advice that you might have for my friend about re-selling (is that even the right term?) this ring.

They''re not in Chicago, but Pearlman''s has a fantastic reputation for consignment around here. Looks like they''re actually in Battle Creek, Michigan, in case he would get a chance to go up there. Otherwise it could be done by mail.
