Where to get ring guards

If a ring is too big, can you go to any jewelry store and get a ring guard and does it have to be done professionally or is it something I can do myself. Also, will the guard scratch the band at all?

you can buy little plasic ring things at Claire''s for a temp fix. If you''re wanting sizing beads or a sizing bar for a more permanant fix you''ll have to have a jeweler do that..
