For your credit score (FICO) you have to pay. annualcreditreport.com will give you three free credit reports (one from each bureau) that you can opt to get all at once or come back and get one by one throughout the course of the year. It just gives your credit history, not your score.
No place that I know of gives your credit score for free. I know mine because I applied for a car loan as well as home loan preapproval. They have to give you the data then.
here is the official site that you get from all three companies once a year for free. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp Also just pay the additonal $7 or something for your FICO score from them as well. I look up FICO scores on people all the time and it cost our company about $6 to do so
i recall seeing an offer from Amex on this. sure, you would need to sign up for their credit monitoring service, but they usually give you a month for "free" then you can just cancel.
MyFico.com also has trial offers where you can view your score and report free for 30 days. Just make sure to cancel the trial membership within that 30 days or you will be charged for a year''s membership. I believe the products are called Score Watch and Quarterly Monitoring.
