I am looking for an online source that sells sidestones (in matching pairs). I am particularly interested in bullets... can anyone point me in the right direction?
I''d suggest that you get the stones from the person making the ring.
You might find yourself in an awkward position if you buy the stones and they don''t fit the settings in the ring properly.
Is the ring going to be made to fit the stones, or do you need stones that fit the already exisiting ring? The best way to do this is to have the dealer selling the ring supply the stone, but if made for the stones, this wouldn''t apply if the person selling you the ring is going to custom make the mounting to fit whatever stones you buy.
But many of the settings have these in specific sizes and the stones you get need to fit them very well - or you''ll forever have aggravation with this.
Dont laugh, but when I needed I some small sidestones, I went to the pawn shop down here. I know the guy pretty well
and I know hes in the business of buying and selling diamonds. I told him the quailty and color I wanted, and I got them at a really good price
Whomever you have make your ring will be able to get them for you very easily. I agree with Rocdoc, let them do it, they no what to look for and have a better chance of getting an exact match.
