Would you buy at Ross-Simons or at Solomon Brothers?

I''m looking for a well made sturdy necklace for a pendant.

Anyone have any experiance with these two vendors or other vendors?

THANKS

Well, my humble 2 cents is that with a necklace chain, what you see is what you get... so as long as you like it, and you feel the price is fair... I don't think you can go wrong with either place.

honestly i would just go to walmart for a sturdy chain.

I''d go to overstock.com (they have great prices on white gold, platinum or yellow gold chains/necklaces....good luck

If it''s just the chain you want, qvc.com or hsn.com might have inexpensive gold ones.

I agree, lots to choose from on there, and if you don''t like it send it back within 30 days for a full refund.

Me too--they have good 14k chains. There are also several good eBay sellers that carry 14k chains for around $20.

THANKS

I don't get to WalMart much, it's a drive from my house.

I'll check Overstock and WalMart.

I have bought both a platinum chain and gold chain at goldspeed.com. With the platinum one, I got it and wanted a heavier one and sent it back for an exchange and they were very quick to exchange it. I would use them again for chains.

Thanks

Goldspeed has really good close ups of the chains. That''s a great plus.

Try QVC and ShopNBC.com. I have bought several gold chains and bracelets from both, and they are very good quality, and made in Italy and a good price.

Me too - most of my ''extra'' chains come from QVC.
