Where oh where has Dancing Fire gone?

DF has posted on Pricescope for a long time. He's obviously well liked because when he is not posting, he is missed!

As one member has already stated, he can browse but can't post. Perhaps admin could help resolve this? When folk go missing off the board, there is always speculation of people being banned without reason...which is not good for the forum.

There could be a number of reasons why DF is unable to post. Can Admin help ???????

IP address is your computers(or routers) internet address, it works like your street address so the server knows where to send the data.
The internet is like the post office it delivers a package(packets actualy) from one address to another.

going one step further calling the internet the post office...
When you visit a website you send a package to the servers address asking for the information in a specific place(url, like https://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp) and the sever sends that data to the return address in the package you sent.

yes they usually do.
I have 4 computers at home that all share one internet IP address.
If you have more than one computer sharing your internet connection then they are also sharing your internet address.
The device that allows multiple computers to share an address is a router.
