On WF for the ACA diamonds, they have AGS certificates that list the three 0 grades for light performance, proportion factors and finish plus polish and symmetry directly on the certificate, but on JA for their H&A diamonds they show AGS certs without these extra grades, even though JA lists it themselves...

Can anyone please explain?

huh?

The very first diamond I clicked on had it listed....unless you mean something else?

It says AGS ideal 0
polish ideal
symmetry ideal
proportions ideal

oh i guess some do have it. how about this one, though, it doesn''t:

when you click on the grading report it doesn''t have it...

Yes, about, shoot, what was it now...4 months ago maybe? they changed the layout of the formats.

They decided that it would be easier for consumers to simply see the cut grade: 0.

Then if they wanted more information you can open a flap on the right hand side and see the zeros. However, by being a cut grade of zero all three by definition have to be zero, so really saying 000 is a moot point. AS if any of them WERE 1 then it would have a corresponding cut grade deduction.

Some sites take scans where the right hand flap is visible, and many DQD's are from before the layout change, and many are from after, so the date would matter. That is hard to tell with JA as they erase the date, but nonetheless if it is not visible directly undert he cut grade it is on the right hand tab, and by definition is 000.

Intersting note, for about 2 weeks they actually listed all 11 factors with very very small .00XXX deductions that were present but did not actual affect the cut grade. They quickly changed that:) I am guessing it was hard to sell a 0 cut grade diamond that didn't have all 0's:) But honestly, You can't really make a diamond purchase decision based on .0001 deductions, as there are many more important things to consider, like color Clarity, cost, ct, angles, LGF, table size, etc, long before saying oh... .0001 deduction:) So they were probably smart to take it off. anyway, they changed it back from the 11 factors to the 3 and kept it on the new right hand flap.
