Most days outdoors in sunny CA, even when it's cloudy. And of course, Costco and Home Depot. Not inside my house because I have ugly beige walls and bad lighting, but that's okay because I don't wear anything at home.

Not so much my diamond - but my rough colored stones all look best when I am sitting at the table setting out the back of my house.

I pretty much love it in all lighting because it shows the different sides of my OEC's personality. Even fluorescent lighting is not bad. My favorite lighting for Bea would probably be outside on a partly sunny cloudy day though she is pretty awesome under low light conditions too. And of course I agree that Costco lighting just rocks for diamonds.

In our Master Bathroom under recessed LED lighting, I think it is better than Costco or Home Depot. Multiple intense light sources in a relatively small area.

Two places, with very different looks.

1. A huge public building with a very high black ceiling in which there was maybe a hundred bright halogen lights.
This produced the most spectacular fire I had ever seen.

2. In a 99 cents store, again with a high ceiling that was white with many rows of exposed fluorescent tubes that ran wall to wall.
Unlike #1 above this resulted in no blinding flashes of specular fireworks, rather every single facet was lit up with an amazing range of rich pastel hues.

Of course elevators with ceiling halogens are fun.

I think my least-favorite look is under full sun.

Totally necessary. I've been to those locations and others and the lighting varies by geographical location.

CVS (drugstore). It goes bright white and you can see every facet and reflects rainbow flashes! Costco is great for fire but my favorite is definitely CVS!

Outside, clear day, after a fresh snow. The snow is reflecting all the light back like crazy from unusual angles. Snow sparkles + diamond sparkles =

Our local TGI just remodeled their bar/wait area and my jewelry is super sparkly there now. The ceiling has been raised and is now black with halogen pendant type lights. Otherwise it is usually sparkly in my car.
