Where else should I look?

I am looking for a 10x10 square stone to fit in my 18k wg setting I bought for something else (that didn't work out). I want to use a trusted vendor. I am concentrating right now on finding a nicely saturated amethyst. I am not having any luck. So far I have contacted
1. Mr Dutton- doesn't have one in stock but waiting to hear back about possibly sourcing one
2. Gene- I don't think he does a lot of amethyst, just emailed him today waiting to hear
3. BB-doesn't have any not taking custom orders right now
4. D Stair- doesn't have any rough to fit the bill

Where else should I look? I appreciate any help.

And, although I know you want an amethyst you might want to consider purple spinel simply because they are more durable.

I understand Dana at Master Cut has a lot of amethyst rough, as does Jerry Newman at Gemart:

Jerry cut a "barion bow" cut tourmaline for me that was phenomenal. I just got it set and will post pics soon. It's a heck of a cut and makes a great stone. If you scroll toward the bottom of this page, you'll see an example of the cut:

i was at gemfix last week and andrew had some nice saturated amethyst that is not on his website - i didn't really look at that tray (other than in passing) so i don't remember if he had anything that size but worth a call or an e-mail anyway.

Ooooh I am so excited to contact these vendors. I prefer a purple or green stone. Those are the colors I am longing for. I am REALLY open to suggestions. I am simply trying to find something that will look nice in this setting
