Where do you keep your ring during sport?

Do you have an elegant storing solution for your ring, if you don't want it on your finger for safety purposes for like 3-4 hours but still want to keep it on you? The ring box seems slightly too large to keep it on you all the time.

Thanks for your advice!

I remove the ring and store it at home before leaving for the sporting activity.

I leave mine at home if I know I'm going to an activity where I won't wear it. If something comes up unexpectedly where it's better to take it off, I dump the coins from the zip pocket in my wallet and zip it in there.

Likewise. Home is safest. If I can't get home to take it off, depending on the intensity of the activity, I will wear it on my necklace (light gym workout at lunch) or not wear it at all that day (intense sporting activity).

Not sure what sport you're participating in, or how fancy your ring is.

For me: golf, tennis, swimming, boating, biking = on my hand.

Rock climbing? gardening? (ok, not a sport), sand-castle building = off & hidden at home.

Where I live theft is MUCH more prevalent than robbery! On my hand for 20 years & counting.

As with previous posters, I try to leave it at home if I am going to be doing something sporty. If I cannot leave it at home (eg going to the gym in the middle of the workday), it goes in a locked drawer or cabinet in my office, along with all my other jewelry. I feel like it is more likely to be stolen from a locked gym locker than from a locked location in my restricted-access office.

Hi,
I don't play sports but I do like to keep my jewelry with me even while I'm doing stuff where it's inadvisable to wear it. I found an antique pocket watch clip that works well when I need to stash a ring or two. The chain I wear it on is 30" long and sturdy, so the clip (with or without rings clipped onto it) is really quite secure. Just thought I'd share.

Have a great day
