I''m looking for a platinum Tiffany knife-edge setting, one that fits a 2.2 - 2.4 carat diamond. Questions:

1.) Is 4 prong sufficient for this size stone?
2.) I like the style where the "prongs" or the setting base blends in with the ring...not the style where the base sits "on top" of the ring
3.) What''s an approx. price for these types of settings?
4.) Can you provide website addresses or B&M stores in the Palm Springs / Riverside / LA area where I can view

Thanks!

Since you asked... We sell them, but you should contact us privately because we're really not supposed to sell on the forum.

Why is it called "knife-edge"?

Is it due to its semi-triangular cross section?

i believe that superbcert has a nice one as well. good luck!

Because the edges of the ring come up to a dull "V" instead of being rounded off like a traditional solitaire.
