where can i get a sapphire polished?

my sister has a family heirloom sapphire that is very scratched and dull on top. for sentimental reasons (it belonged to my grandmother), we would like this stone restored. it appears to be a 9x9mm cushion cut blue sapphire. the color might be very pretty when polished, and the size is nice, i think.

does anyone know who/where we could have this done, and how much it might cost?
