Yes, you should be able to get a halo setting to accommodate a princess cut stone.
A respected PS vendor that shows tons of examples of designer settings on their website is Pearlman's Jewelers. Click here to check out their website.
I'm attaching a Ritani setting pic that I found on their website for you of a halo setting you might like ...
I'm sure Mrs. Salvo will be along shortly to give you some more suggestions ... She is fantastic with settings!
**oops ... sorry it's a little bigger than I wanted it to be.
Hi Pinkcloud,
you can definately buy square and cushion shaped halos to set your princess stone, it should look lovely.
Do you have a specific budget in mind? Tastes? modern or antique looking? Gold or platinum? he he just joshin ya..
I have been looking at Beverley K halos myself recently, which are very reasonably priced (average ~$900 - $1400 for 18k white gold) - they are sold at the Pearlmans website, which has a Ton of settings. and the owner Bill is very helpful and nice. www.pearlmans.com
If you click on *designers* at top of page then *Beverley K*, then the halos start on about page 8. She has many pretty ones that are square and cushion shaped.
hope u find summin u like, pls ask if u need more help
Thanks so much!
Hmm, what am I looking for? um, let''s see. No budget in mind, but seeing as this is a re-make of my e-ring after less than a year being married and just a little over a year engaged, i feel that I can''t ask for a whole lot of $$ on this one.
My wedding band is a rose gold eternity, so i''m actually really hoping to find an affordable halo setting with the halo part being rose gold, and the shank in a white metal--most likely white gold... The jeweler who made my wedding band will look into a custom setting, but I wanted to get ideas before we go see him.
Oh Pink cloud I was recently trying to find exactly this same thing as you! I really like RG but it doesn''t seem to be that popular lately. One PS''r woobug recetly bought a Beverley K rose halo, here is her thread https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/beverly-k-here-woooooooooooooo.79315/
Its a lil different but still extremely pretty.
The other site I would suggest is Simon G - he does some gorgeous stuff in rose including some halos.
pinkcloud..my suggestion would be to look at the beverley k settings on pearlmans site. go to rings and start around page 7 or 8. beverley k will customize halo''s and also do the rosegold and their settings are priced very well IMO. they have some amazing settings that could easily put your princess in.
