To fuel my growing dependence on PS for all jewelry decisions, here is another one. I would like to get a wedding band that sits flush with my e-ring. The problem is that our designer needs the e-ring in order to make the wedding band sit flush. Would you make the wedding band now even though the wedding probably isn''t for 2 years? Or would you send the e-ring back at a later time to make the band (lots of hassle since we are sending it from Canada to the US)?
Now, on to my second question. Which option would look better in order for my band to sit flush?
1) Have part of the band gouged out to accommodate the center?
2) Keep the band consistent at 2 mm and have a little v to accommodate the center?
I am leaning towards option 2 because I will be able to wear the wedding band alone or even stack them. It would just have a little v versus being full circle.
