When looking through the side of the diamond....

Should I see anything in the middle of the diamond? This is a VS2 quality, Whiteflash ACA diamond. I seem to see a sort of extra reflector in the middle of the diamond. It looks like it is flat and facing upward. Is this normal? Is it something common... I have no idea !

Seriously, as Surfgirl said, we''ve all been there. I personally think every jeweler should hand over the diamond ring with an explanation of girdle reflection. It would save SO many people so much grief.

Ha! I am totally relieved also! I had no idea that was the reflection of the girdle! And being that I did not help FI pick out the diamond/ring at all, I never had the heart to ask what it was just in case it was a major flaw! LOL! Thank god for pricescope! I''m soooo happy I found this site and such wonderfully educated and helpful people!
