I am a web designer for a living. I am currently freelancing as well as working my normal 8-6 (or later) job. I feel like I never have time for myself but also know that my dh and I need the extra income it produces. Is anyone else in a similar situation? When do you say enough to working each day and make the switch over to personal life from work life?

Only you know your financial situation. Is it possible to cut down on your freelance projects but not stop them all together? I think personal time is SO important. Life is about experiences and if you emotional/spiritual health is taking its toll, that is not okay. What does your DH say about the situation?

I wouldn't say it's taking it's toll on me physically (aside from not having as much time for my work outs) but more so mentally. It just gets to the point somedays where I just can't think anymore ya know? I'm just wondering if anyone else is balancing such a crazy work schedule! Basically any extra money made from freelancing is what enables us to have a date once in a while or go do something fun so it's not really DIRE that I do it. But I enjoy the opportunities it gives us to enjoy the time we do have together :)

I think the first thing I would do is define "need" when it comes to the "extra money". If it is EXTRA money then you WANT it and you have to weigh time vs disposable income. If that money isn't really extra and is truly defined as a "need" then the only option really is to see if you can make more money in another way - because quitting really isn't an option.
