Post what your theme song is and bonus points for linking a YT video!

In the spirit of fun, let people know if you're open to song suggestions from others lololol. I am!:wavey:
Hahahahaha I think I'm a..:

Hopefully it's O.K to have more than one, waving the Aussie flag -
Justice Crew - Que Sera;

Joe Moore Invincible;

This is mine:

Fun thread! I like Arlie's suggestion for you Pinto, you are definitely a survivor.

@PintoBean off the top of my head this early morning when I am bleary eyed and very sleepy (ha I see you were awake when I was awake in the middle of the night last night)
this is (one of) the theme songs I would choose for you.

I cannot think of a theme song for me. When I was younger the MTM theme song would have been it for me. Now not so much.
Here's a bad ass version of what is one of my favorite theme songs.
Hey PB this could apply to you as well.:appl:

Great thread! I have 3 songs:

"Pass Me By", written by Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh
"Turtle Blues", by Janis Joplin
and, of course,
"Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" by Jule Styne & Leo Robin

HI:

"That Girl" by Maxi Priest/Shaggy. LOLOL:lol-2::saint:

But most other might think of me "That Girl is Poison" by Bel Biv DeVoe.

cheers--Sharon

HI:

Missy, JuneBug, CJ, Marcy, Scandi LLJSmom, Austina: I bet all your DH's think of ya'll as "Diamond Girl". Seals and Crofts.

cheers--Sharon

Thinking about this, I have had songs through my life that just felt like me. Not sure that makes any sense, but there you go!

In high school, I would have said Aaron Tippin's "Kiss This" then as I got out on my own it was more Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?"

As I started thinking this morning, neither of those seem right any more. They both have to do with showing others how good I am and proving I am good enough for others. Very happy to say that isn't me now that I am older!

I'd have to say the best song to describe me now is "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw.

I know too many people who lost loved ones this year. I have seen too many people from my high school class die. Too many friends in the animal rescue community...
I realized that I had been saying "tomorrow" about too many things and that I may never get that tomorrow. I am living my life for me! (Plan and prepare for the future, of course! But there is that balance!)

Green Day “ good riddance”

Never trust a big butt and a smile. ‍♀️
Hahahahahaha I love you Sharon!

Billy Joel just speaks to me.

This is wifey4vr and my theme song.
We played this video at our wedding.
Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd.

My father had a 34 foot flybridge cruiser when I was a teen, he named it Imagine after that very song. The boat always brought peace and happiness and everyone onboard always loved cruising and fishing on it, so it was a fitting name.

As for my own theme song...well, there is only one. Although I think I may be a touch more classy, respectful and refined than Mr Franklin

The animals get out of this place.. this harkens back to the 60s and high school.. this song has carried me thru my adult life.

@PintoBean , with your rose gold sneakers, this is your song! :mrgreen2:

That was great Jordy! I was expecting a serious song!

~~

Here are my theme songs for the present..

This is my theme song for Trump

This one is mine

Kelly Clarkson: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

The bitch is back, by Elton John

Some Day I'll be Saturday Night by Bon Jovi

This is my new theme song.

Since I saw Annie in the movie theater as a 5 year old, I have loved this song. I sing it all the time, still, and now I sing it to my 5 year old daughter. Optimism!

Oh man, what a fun thread! And no, I can’t choose just one :Up_to_something2:

A new song, “Greatest Love Story” by Lanco, is my husband’s and my story down to a “T,” so that’s the first one that comes to mind:

A song that’s always “gotten me” is Pat Benatar’s “Hit Me with your Best Shot”:

Ditto to Kasey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow”:

I adore absolutely every song in the (sadly) largely unknown musical “The Light in the Piazza,” and the eponymous song makes my soul soar (the entire musical was filmed live onstage, should anyone care to find it on YouTube):

And finally, because it’s always my go-to Broadway karaoke, “So Much Better” from the musical version of “Legally Blonde”

@Hayley87 that Kacey Musgrave song is awesome! 9/10 PSrs wouldn’t give it the time of day but I bet those 9’d be glad they did. What a great message. Thanks for posting it. I’m reading a book about women who were inspired by female country music artists right now and there is so much to be said for the art form that is country. So many stories told.

My dh and I saw The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center many years ago...it was wonderful!

Loved all your theme song choices @Hayley87 and Monnie is right...the Kasey Musgrave song is awesome. Thanks for sharing.:appl:
