Hello all, I am interested in the following round diamond but am concerned about the twinning wisps and its affect on light performance. Can anyone shed some "light" on on topic?

Overall, is this a reasonable price for this diamond? Would you seek an alternative if it were you? My budget is $15k for diamond and micro pave ring. Im assuming the ring is going to be around $2-2.5k based on my discussion with GOG.

I will just say that I am confident that GOG would not have bought the stone for inventory if the twining wisps were negative on light performance. Twining wisps can be some of the better SI2 inclusions. If this is the size diamond you want, I think it is a good choice. You'd have to go down in size to get a higher clarity stone, obviously.

thanks....no more takers?

I would agree, I would take those spread out inclusions over a huge carbon booger any day.

I agree with DS - most twining wisps are not visible to the naked eye. However, your best source of information is from the folks at GOG. They have the stone and would be very honest with you in terms of its eye cleanliness. They also have a good return policy so if you didn't love the stone, you could return it.
