One of my most favorite flowers is the sagebursh mariposa lilly - It blooms all around my city for about 2 weeks in June - blink and you miss it.
It doesn''t smell, but it''s so graceful and delicate!

I also love tea roses with a nice perfume, babie''s breath, multicolored carnations, and astromeria - basicaly anything with a nice perfume. I don''t like hyacynths or easter lillys that have a stron perfume: too stinky!

I love so many different types of flowers. My favorites, though, are peonies, ranunculus, anemones, dahlias, and parrot tulips. The only ones I can''t be around are lilies and gardenias - they''re gorgeous, but the scent is so strong, I get nasty migraines, in addition to some major dizziness.

Yellow roses and cosmos.

I''ve never thought of this before...but I''ve noticed a pattern that I''m drawn to arrangements with snap dragons in them. I think that''s my final answer

Tulips, peonies, ranunculas and roses (not the tightly spiraled ones you can get at the grocery store, the ones that get all big, fluffy and kinda ragged looking).

Peonies for me! I plan on having them in my bouquet...

Irises have a special place in my heart since my grandmother and I would always go out to pick them together in the spring.

Mine are ranunculus and anemones for sure! I wonder how hard they are to grow? I''d love to grow some in the front of my house this spring/summer...

I lover gerbers too! Bright, colourful and cheery.

Also a big fan of orchids.

I like pretty much all of them but I''m not a fan of roses.

Orchids are my passion! These started to bloom again 1-2 weeks ago!

What a difficult question! To make it easier I''ll break it up into categories

Favourite cut flower has got to be black baccara roses. I treat myself to 25 of them every Christmas.

It''s really difficult to choose one flower from a garden plant that I like the best. So after much thought and some serious competition I would have to say that it''s Clematis florida "Sieboldii"

Roses (of any sort, especially with unique fragrances) and daisies. I also really enjoy honeysuckle.

OH and GARDENIAS

I love orchids, anemones, peonies, and tulips.

orange tiger lily

<----------- Peonies!!!!

I also love ranunculas.

Wow ladies! These flowers are all so beautiful!! I love to look at tem, they make me feel happy inside!

Megeve... Can you help me with an orchid question? I have a phaleonopsis orchid that has been blooming for about 1 month-6 weeks. As hard as I try. I can never keep one alive much longer than that! I water it only once a week, and sparingly. I try to give it a lot of indirect sunlight... Some of the bottom leaves are getting yellow/brown, and the buds are starting to droop. How do I keep it alive? What do I do once the blooms die?

I love sweet smelling flowers: star lillies, jasmine, lady of the night.

So many to choose from:-)

cymbium orchids, irises, leonidas roses, pink peonies, and lily of the valley.

Normally with orchids, it boils down to too much or too little water. The blooms of my new plants usually last 4-6 months depending on the quality of the plants, once I had it even for 7 months. I started buying orchids 5 years ago and after 2 years of trials and errors, I found out the best way of watering these plants. I use a big pail with water up to the brim, then I dip the orchid pot into the water till the air bubbles are gone and then drain the plant on some newspaper for 30 mins or more, then put it back to the flower pot. This is to make sure the roots are dry and NOT standing in any pool of water in the flower pot! Any slightest water in the flower pot will kill the bloom! With this watering method, the plant will hold for a week or even 2 if I am away for a longer trip!

Once the blooms die, I do not cut them back straight away, I only cut the tip/s when it start to turn brown. But I make sure, the plants get enough indirect sunlight and once in a while I leave them without water for 2 weeks, it will induce the blooms process!

Tuckins, I hope these informations help! If you have anymore questions, just fire away! Have fun with your orchids!
