Don''t act like you don''t know just because you''re a grown-up!

Also, do you prefer the stick or plastic sleeve?

As a kid, I loved popsicles on sticks mostly because those were a special treat and much bigger than the normal Mr. Freeze that we usually had. I don''t remember a favorite flavor as a child although I''ve always avoided grape.

My favorite colors now are Yellow and Green. And, as an adult, I prefer the plastic because there''s no drips.

Green.

And I''m weird about eating my popsicles. My preference is actually to remove it from the stick and grind it down so it''s more like eating a slushie.

^^^ LOL!

We called the, um, plastic sleeve ones "freeze-pops." So for me, popsicles were always on a stick. Hated the double stick ones! It goes without saying that if you''re eating a popsicle it''s a hot day. It doesn''t take long for melting to cause the stupid double-stick thing to separate and how you''re stuck with a popsicle in each hand. Or, you try to share the double-stick with a friend and break it apart before, um, sucking on it, but that never worked -- you end up with one lopsided stick with two pops on it and one empty stick. Given a choice of frozen artificially fruit flavored ice forms, I preferred freeze-pops. But given a choice of anything on the ice-cream truck, I went for fudgesicles, creamsicles or nutty-buddies, depending on how much money I had. (Fudgesicles were ten cents and we pronounced it "fudgicle.")

Oh man, I loved a bomber pop as a kid. I haven''t had one in years. Actually, I could use one right now.

I don''t care if they are on sticks or in the plastic thingy (like Otter pops). I just love a popsicle.

My favorites are purple and red. Especially if the red is strawberry. I like blue too.

Red, that would be cherry or Strawberry on a stick.

All of them? I''ve never had a popsicle I didn''t like. yum!

creamsicles are better though

Orange on a stick
I liked the "Push Ups" too
And those red white and blue things

My Dad rest his soul always called them "Fudgicles".
I thought it was just his Minnesota accent.

Red.

I prefer on a stick.

When I was younger and we got the freezer pops (in the plastic thingy), I would eat it as slow as I could and let it melt and then drink the juice...we would always measure to see who had the most juice and ''won''.

I tried doing that recently and it was gross. Honestly, I really prefer the Dole fruit bars to actual popsickles.

Kenny~ lol.

We call the plastic sleeve ones "freeze-pops" as well as Popsicles but I wasn''t sure if that was a regional thing. Obviously I chose my wording poorly, at least according to mind-in-the-gutter-Kenny!

The double sticks always irritated me. My brother would break them apart and I got the half empty stick.

The neighbor kids do the juice thing to see who "wins." I had never heard of that before!

It''s a toss up between orange and grape.

red and purple. we normally got freezee pops, and if we did happen to get the double stick kind, mom always split them. I liked to leave my freezee out in the sun so it melted a little and was slushie.

I like pudding pops too..I don''t even know if they still make them.

Orange and on a stick, please!

I prefer the single stick, as well.

I make OJ popsicles all summer long. Williams Sonoma has this awesome instant popsicle maker but I just can''t justify the purchase. We would get a lot of use out of it, though!

I''m also a big fan of Sno Cones, thankyouverymuch. Red and blue colors, please.

Cherry. But like Miss Mina, I also loved the orange sherbet-like Push-Ups, too.

Orange!

As a kid I love the colors of the traffic lights! I loved my lemon, lime or strawberry popsicles on a stick.

Purple (grape) on a stick!

Red! When it comes to candy and popsicles, I'm always a fan of red flavors, whether it's strawberry or cherry.

I only think of it as a popsicle if it's on a stick, but I like the push-up variety as well.

red or blue
When I was a kid that blue raspberry flavor was my absolute FAVE!

My preference is cherry on a stick. The problem was that my mom would buy the ones that were a double (2 sticks that you could break apart) and I had to share with my sister. My sister loved grape (not me) and when we were allowed to go to the candy store to get one she would always get the grape (mom always gave her the money). When mom noticed that I wouldn''t eat mine (my sister always offered to eat my half) mom would then buy one of each and freeze the other halves for another day.

Seems I just can''t talk about popsicles in any way!!!

I forgot about sno-cones!! I''ve only ever gotten sno-cones at the fair, and it''s coming up soon! I always mix the colors on those.

I like green "freezie-pops", and orange on the stick.
The red, white and blue (Firecrackers) are good too.

lol - the Jello chocolate fudgesicles are known as "poopsicles" in my family
