what's the difference between these two diamonds

i am considering two diamonds with different looking diagrams... if you look, the border (crown) of both diamonds is different.... what exactly is the difference?

both stones have 3 chevrons.

also... which one would you pick?

So are you planning to choose one of these stones simply based upon those two pictures that you just posted? I really hope you request images of the stones before you make a decision!

i am making a purchase from bluenile... all specs are pretty much the same... considering everything else equal, which shape would look better? i dont know if i am making any sense.

Ah, I see. BN doesn't provide images of the actual diamond. Maybe you will get more replies to your thread, but I'd be really surprised if anyone can really give opinions based upon the inclusion plots. The problem is that while you may now where the inclusions are on the stones, you just don't know if they will be visible to the naked eye. In addition, the inclusion graphs won't give you any info about the light performance of the stones.

BN has a great return policy, so maybe choose the one that appeals to you and see what you think.

Jatt I just found these diamonds that have similar cut patterns on the certificates, but I don't know enough about Princess cuts to be able to tell you that either will or will not look similar to these stones, so I'm not sure how much help it is. Maybe someone else can comment.

Other than that I'm not sure how much more anyone can help you without actual images of the stones and ASETs.

I just saw onedrops post, were you looking for insight on the inclusions or the difference in the cut and how that changes the appearance of the diamond. I think that I mentioned to you before, but IDJ can call in any BN stone and assess it for you and they can also do the ASET images. He will also beat BNs price.
