so yes i know that wearing a wband with ering is supposedly going to make the ering more snug. but why?

for me my finger is straight throughout. so unless it''s at the very base of my ring finger, the ring is basically the same size even at the knuckle! basically, if it''s loose on my finger it''s loose at the knuckle.

so will it be the same effect for fingers like mine when i wear a wband next to the ering? in typical cases, the wband will push the ering to a thicker part of the finger, which makes the ring snug.

i right now have an ering that has no problem sliding past the knuckle. will getting a wband in a smaller size help the fit of my ering? or do i really have to resize my ering? i dread making any changes to it, i don''t want it to leave my hands (literally!)

thoughts? personal experiences?

Why not just go into a B/M store and try out a few wedding rings with your E-ring? Then you will see if that affects you.

My e-ring is about 1/4 size larger than my wedding band, and it fits nicely on my finger next to the wedding band. My wedding band is about 4mm wide though. I find I cannot wear the e-ring by itself because it spins, but I don''t need to since I am married (lol). Hope this helps answer your question!

BTW, I wouldn''t want to take off that e-ring either!!!

hi pannini, my fingers are similar to yours, same size at the knuckle as below it, i purposely purchased my e-ring a 1/4 of a size larger because i''m used to wearing my rings loose but not too loose that it''ll fall off on its own, it does spin slightly but only enough to give me an excuse to readjust and stare

i plan on wearing my wedding band on the side closest to the palm (the base of the finger) which is the thickest part, so i ordered it a 1/8 size larger, when i tried both on, the e-ring has stopped spinning because it has something to rub against now, the whole set does fit more snug on my finger

from your post, do you plan on wearing it on the side closest to the fingertip? if so, i think it would definitely help keep your e-ring on your finger, sizing would really depend on the type and thickness of wedding ring you go with

If your fingers are pretty much straight, then I don''t think wearing a wedding band will help much in your case.
