What random assortment of foods are on your list to pick up? Seriously, your actual list, right now.

Mine is:

Perogies

Benadryl

Beer

Christmas Tree

How about you?

I don't think anyone is going to be able to top your list, ILander! :cheeky:

My list is so boring. I just sent DH to the store to buy:
- 3 Granny Smith apples
- 2 Honeycrisp apples
- 3 oranges
- Froot Loops
- Milk

I'm very pregnant, these are basically the only things I want to eat lately.

Once the kid comes my list will be:
- My favorite sushi rolls from our favorite sushi place, and
- Red wine

I cannot wait. :lickout:

I'm one of those "bums" that doesn't do a shopping list ;) I just go up and down and see what appeals to me.

I do also need a Christmas tree though :)

Obsessedddd with honeycrisps!! Normally granny smiths are my favorite... Unless its honeycrisp season! I can and will... Sometimes do... eat 3 a day

Loooove honeycrisps! And I can finally get my husband to eat fruit cause he likes them too :D

I just had a honey crisp apple today!

Here's a lis of thing I need to get :

-Chips
-Almond greek yogurt
-Apple cider
-Korean rice cakes
-Frozen edamame
-Pumpkin
-Satsuma mandarins
-Cookie butter (as recommended by PSers)

I probably need to get more. A trip to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's is due!

Milk
yeast
tea
butter
oj
cranberries
laundry soap
dryer sheets
hamburger buns
pepcid

Was going to go yesterday but lost my motivation, will go today if I ever get to sleep :snore:

My husband just went to the grocery story last night and he picked up:

salmon
chicken
buffalo pretzels
popcorn
apples

I've been craving pomegranate seeds and asked him to look for pom-poms, but the store was out. I love pomegranates but I hate getting the seeds out. These are perfect! http://www.pomwonderful.com/products/freshfruit/pom-wonderful-arils/

Uh oh, my grocery list is a bit longer than everyone else's it seems. I'm embarrassed to post it! But I will anyway! :cheeky:

1. spinach
2. romaine
3. avococados
4. bananas
5. honeycrisps!!!!! (apples are really expensive these days anyone else notice this?)
6. pears (either bosc or bartlett or both depending)
7. dried chickpeas and black beans
8. almonds, walnuts, unsalted pistachios
9. sobe water
10. milk, cheese, turkey, whole grain bread or wraps (for my dh)
11. peanut butter
12. celery
13. frozen vegetable mix (it's really delicious-I recently discovered this at Costco and the mix is yummy)

And I add to it as I remember throughout the week. We usually do our grocery shopping day for the majority of our items on Fridays but do local runs for other items throughout the week as necessary.

I sent my husband to the store after work today, so not much left on the list.

Holiday stamps
Hangar One vodka (a recommendation, we usually are boring and just grab Grey Goose)
Build an earthquake kit
Vanilla soy milk (finally, an actual food item!)

We were just at the shops last night. All I forgot was chocolate. I previously believe it to be unforgettable, but I have been proven wrong.

I don't want just any chocolate. I want this.

What?!?!?! No fair! We don't have that in the US... I love chocolate covered gummi bears, and jelly bean chocolate seems like it would be a similar flavor? I do have several bars of Cadbury in my desk at work. Oh, and a couple packs of Mamba. And 3 pounds of holiday Hershey kisses on the desk to share. I might have a small problem with candy, but I'm usually too busy at work to eat it, and having candy in my office means people come visit me ;)

Milk

Tomatoes

Something to store all my perfume in

Bacon
Milk

These two staples are pretty much on the list every time I go to the store.

Nothing. I just paid bills. Can't believe the increase in grocery prices. Oh, forgot, the gov't says inflation is, what, around 3%? I must have added a few zeros by mistake.

5 pounds apples
5 pounds carrots

gluten free bread

granny smith & honey crisp apples
Channukah candles
maple spice oatmeal

We *just* went shopping so the extent of it right now is:

Eggs

Egg Nog
Butter
Mascara

I shopped last Sunday & spent $418. Have two adult size sons and one adult size husband  They like to eat.

It tastes even better than it sounds! I love Cadbury chocolate, so creamy, and then there are chewy jubes and pop rocks all through it. Yum! :lickout:

Hi Laurie! :wavey:

Don't get me started on the way that the government has removed everything (brand name products, energy, etc.) from the cost of living calculations and replaced it with nonsense (1cent cell phones, store brand products). I think the inflation rate is tied to a single can of beans in the back of a small grocery store in Topeka.

I try to buy everything at Costco, it's a little better, but not great.

I've obviously got to add honeycrisp apples to my list, since these are apparently a thing. :cheeky:

But really, the only thing on my list that I have a sense of urgency about is the beer.

I only have 3 or 4 beers a month, but I hate to be out of them :errrr:

Stuff has gotten expensive! I really hate how they've shrunk the amount of stuff you get and try to make it look like the same amount as before :angryfire:

Pint of ice cream isn't any more.

People have figured the inflation rate, using the original index components that Carter used (Reagan did the first change, each administration since then has made further adjustments), to be at 9% per year. :(sad

I'm not sure...I have multiple lists that I need to consolidate.

Usually beer is always on our list....right now, tape, wrapping paper, bows.

Then, it's time for a trip to Trader Joe's for mini-milks for the kids' lunches & mineral water.

Seems like I go to the store almost every day. We're always running out of something!

Today's trip was:

1% Lactose Free Milk (for drinking)
2% Lactose Free Milk (for cereal and cooking)
Roasted Sunflower Seeds
Dried Cranberries
Walnuts
Lentils
Hummus
Crackers
Amy's Burritos (hubs loves these!)
Crumbled Goat Cheese

oh, and a little packet of biscotti for me to munch on the way home.

I do most of our big shopping on the weekends, but we'll be out of town this weekend and we were completely out of milk. The fruit and nuts are to make trail mix for our train trip this weekend, and hubs goes through hummus like there's no tomorrow.

Never had a honeycrisp. Adding those to my list! Thanks!
