i've been looking left and right and have plugged enough stones in the cut adviser to make my head spin. how do i know when it's a good deal so i can finally make the leap?? also i've been looking in GoG and WF as suggested by numerous threads. any other vendor i should expand my search to?

plez help

Best bet would be to narrow your stones down to a couple, post all the stats including who graded the diamond (GIA, AGS, etc.), table and depth percentages, crown and pavilion angles, colour grade, carat weight and price. The experts here will be happy to evaluate what you have and tell you if the price is reasonable or not.

any other vendors aside from GOG and WF? i always see ppl mention particular names when it comes to a vendor.. so is there a certain person i need to contact??

in addition, what really is the difference between search-all and search inhouse when usign price scope?? i''m a bit confused since it seems to come from the same set of vendors??

i''ve read into the differnet search options.. and couldn''t delete the above post

would you pay the 1300 difference?

Well, the second diamond is 0.2 ct bigger to start. That''s a fair chunk of the $1700.

You can also search the listings at Engagement Rings Direct. There are 5000+ diamonds listed there and you can get a feel for pricing with relation to size, color and clarity.
