To me her set was perfection, and I wanted to know how it was wearing.. If it''s comfortable for day to day wear etc. She was such a resource when it came to princess cut diamonds. I know people come and go on these forums, but there are a few I wish would come back, or at least pop in now and then.

yeah, she has one of the most beautiful princess on PS.

That was one blingy set for sure!!

I heard that she had a baby. I could be wrong, and I can''t remember where I heard it so take it for what its worth! Her set is beautiful! Any one that knows for sure please chime in!

bumping just in case

She has a beautiful daughter. She sent me some pics a while back. I haven''t chatted with her lately. I am seeing Nan on Friday, and will ask her. They used to chat quite a bit.

I agree her set is TDF!!!!

OMG! How funny to find this! You guys are SOOOO sweet! I miss PS TERRIBLY!!! Yes, I had a daughter, and I''m actually pregnant again (10 weeks). Between my daughter, working full-time, and volunteering, I don''t have time for my jewelry addiction. Can you believe I STILL haven''t decided on the jewelry item for giving birth to my daughter and she''s about to turn 2 1/2? Crazy!

As for my rings, they wear REALLY well! They''re super comfortable, easy to clean, never spin...they''re great. I still get compliments all the time. But, I don''t have anyone to discuss princess cuts with which is really sad.

Now how are all of you??? Any new purchases I should be aware of?

Love to all!

How lovely to hear from you Researcher!

Hugs!

I was hoping I''d find you or Nan online. How is she??? I miss you guys so much! Thanks for the congrats. I''m enjoying being a mom, but it sure is tiring! I hope my kids will be half as successful as yours!

I wish I had time to participate on the thread, but I barely have time to shower these days. I''m working a ridiculous number of hours between my job and volunteer stuff, and I''m taking care of my daughter all day/every day except for 2 half days a week when she goes to daycare. Sometimes I wish I had to go to the office! At least she''s starting pre-school in the fall. It''s only 3 days a week, but I''ll take what I can get!

So do you have any new jewelry photos/links to share?!?!

I''m currently on PS looking for settings for my brother. He has a beautiful 2ct OEC stone from the 1880''s that''s been passed down in the family, but his girlfriend doesn''t like the setting it''s in. So, I''m trying to help them with ideas. It was the perfect excuse to come browse a bit. Seeing all the new stuff is making me want to choose my presents for giving birth! Let me know if you''ve seen anything spectacular with pink stones. It''s too soon to know the gender of the one I''m carrying, so I''ll have to wait before my next item.

So good to hear from you!

Great to see you Researcher!

Congrats on your daughter and baby #2 on the way.

I understand lack of time (and sleep) once you have a little one. My daughter turned 18 months old today. She is a joy, but between her and my job I have very little me time.

been busy making babies?
31.gif
nice to see you again !

Congrats, Kay! They''re so fun at that age, aren''t they? They keep you busy, but without the stubbornness that comes with a 2 year old. It''s so true that there''s no "me" time. I laugh when friends tell me they''re napping in the middle of the day. I use that time to make my calls! It''s nice knowing there are others out there going through the same thing.

Did you get a special piece of jewelry when your daughter was born?

DF, it''s been a long time! You always crack me up. Glad to see you''re still on here!

do you still live in the "land of the GIANT rocks" ? where 4-5 ct are the norms on the street.

I live in the same place, but these days I can''t look for rings as I have to keep my eyes on my daughter. But, with the economy, I wouldn''t be surprised if rings have either undergone shrinkage or have become CZs. It''s the trouble when people over-extend themselves! Now, those with the GIANT rings are in their 70''s and up, so they still wear their jewels proudly--or so I''m told by my mom as I no longer go to the galas and other black tie events--I now spend my "spare" time at Sea World, the Zoo, Lego Land, and Target. Not quite the same people....

Thanks! It''s nice to hear people who''ve "survived" parenting. I''m having fun, but it''s aging me quickly!

Congrats on your daughter. Welcome back.

Hey researcher! I think I was just a lurker when you were last here, but yours is still my all time favorite princess setting! Both of my friends that wanted princesses have recently gotten engaged, and sadly their boyfriends did not come asking my advice for rings and bought their ladies rounds!

I will just have to settle for virtual images for my princess fix!

Congrats on your daughter and #2 on the way!

When I think about great princess cut e-rings, I always think first about Researcher''s ring. Glad to see that you checked in and are doing well.

Congrats on your babies!

It''s amazing how much catching up I have to do! Congrats to all the new moms/dads, and those with GORGEOUS new bling! I''m loving seeing all the new rings and other jewelry. I just wish all the information on princess cuts was available when I was looking! It''s so funny how AGS didn''t even grade princess cuts when I got my stone, and now there are all these beautiful ACA and similar AGS0 princesses that actually come with all the images you could ever want! Funny to think that I downloaded software and bought the scopes just to see those images 5 years ago. All the new pics I''m seeing here are REALLY making me want lots more jewelry

SO excited to see you responded to this thread! Glad to hear all is well and that you think your rings are as fabulous now as you did when you first got them!

Thanks! Your ring is beautiful. I''ll have to look up the specs/images! Any other great new princesses I should be aware of?

Thanks. Man, would I love a mid-day nap. I am back to working 9am - 6pm, which is 3 hours earlier than I used to go home pre-baby.

It is a fun age. She is constantly learning new things, and she is so excited about her new skills. There is nothing better than picking her up after work and watching her face light up when she sees me, then comes running toward me with outstretched arms calling "Mommy." She is showing a very stubborn streak already though. I am going to have my hands full with this strong-willed little girl.

I got a Cartier Trinity ring with scattered diamonds to symbolize our new family of 3. https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-push-present-from-cartier.104170/ I know how much you love jewelry and I can''t believe you have been too busy to choose a piece of jewelry to commemorate the birth of your daughter!
