I would reset my princess stone in the WhiteFlash X-prong and since the budget is $1K, it would have to be whitegold! And the X-prong is actually a few dollars over $1000...whoops!

I love love love the Tiff Lucida and having a close copy would be yummy!

I would save up a little bit more and buy this AJaffe setting for my round. It's the only thing I want right now besides bigger diamond earrings. I think dh will eventually buy me better earrings if I ask......I mean bigger, I have ACA earrings but they're .22ct each. I will give them to my daughter. Now some sweet talking.

I think dh would buy the AJaffe set and I heard their WG is awesome and is made to not yellow so I wouldn't get platinum. The setting in WG is around $1800 but it's all I want.

I've tried this on and even DH loves it but is sentimental and probably won't ever let me upgrade.

I also would love a channel set diamond 4mm band to replace my wedding band which is plain platinum. I would wear the original on the RH but I hate to keep polishing my 2 plain bands.

I think I would receive more jewelry gifts if I just asked but I feel bad because we have a baby and a 7yo. We would rather spend money on trips. DH lets me do the deals cuz he knows I know my stuff, he gives me a limit and what he'd like me to have and I order it, he pays and picks it up.

EDITED TO ADD: The only thing we don't like is the monster prongs on this one. I've been told you can shave them down only just a bit because there's pave on the prongs. Very pretty ring though.
