Me: 2007 Toyota Prius
Fi: 2008 Toyota Corolla

Our unintentional first date (two friends reconnecting after a few years):
Me: So, I got a new car last year!
Fi: Me too!
Me: I got a Toyota - Prius
Fi: I got a Toyota, too - a Corolla!
Me: That's funny - wasn't your last car a Honda Civic, black?
Fi: No, it was a silver Honda Civic, hatchback. You had a silver Civic, too, right?
Me: Yes - I called it Bullet!
Fi: My sister named mine Bullet!

A big thank you to Toyota and Honda for getting this outting on such a great start that it turned into the first of many dates with my super fiance! LOL!

This is so cute! <3

We desperately need something bigger but can't stand the idea of tripling our gas expenses - we both travel 25 miles each way to work.

DH - 2002 Chevy Tahoe
me - 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Both hand-me-downs. I hated learning to drive the manual - now I love it, and I don't ever want an automatic again!

I drive a 2011 Minivan. I use to drive a Saab.

I resisted buying the minivan and really wanted and Outback but in the end the Minivan is the sensible car for us; it is sooooo easy to put the babies in and the doors just slide open.

We are a one car household.

He drives a Renault Cilo, 2002, I think.
I ride a bike (Ridgeback Flight 01, 2010 model) and drive on the weekends if and when I need to. Last time I drove was over 9 months ago.

We share a 2007 Mazda CX7. Bought it after both of FI's old cars (both 100,000+) finally died. Been driving it for 4 years now and love it. Drives great. Got over 80,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. (we did have to have the turbo charger replaced, but that was covered on warranty)

The only complaint we have about it is the less that great gas mileage (18-20mpg) so we're watching for the CX5 to come out in the next couple of months. Should nearly double the mileage!

Not sure if I already posted in this thread lol

2010 VW Golf sportline.

We downsized to one car when we bought our condo (an extra parking space was $46 000  ) and decided to stay with one even though we're in a house now with more parking.

The plan is to stick to one car so we can afford nicer cars, lol.

Audi Q5 here we come!

2008 SMART bumblebee. 58 mpg and never a thing wrong w/it.

Love it, especially when I pull into a gas station and get 11$ worth of gas that fills the tank, while the dino SUV next to me is headed up towards 75$.

me: 2004 BMW 330i
wife: 2006 BMW X3

We are a BMW family. I have a good friend who owns an independent BMW repairs shop, and he keeps my cars running for ages (I generally own cars 5+ years each), although my wife's x3 barely gets driven as we live in the city and take public transportation most places--we just use it on weekends and on family trips etc. Occasionally, I'll drive it to work just to put some mileage on it, but I hate driving automatics, so I usually drive my car, except when it snows...

my car...

I will be driving my Honda until either it or I die.

DH drives a VW Golf.

I'm not into cars at all, but he will want a new one soon...
