Ack! The topic should have said "what would your numbers be."


Ok, I need a little help. We are doing table numbers that relate to us for something fun and maybe a conversation starter at tables. Here are some examples

1- the number of cars that honked at us during our first kiss
3- number of quesadillas Lauren burned the first time she cooked dinner for Jon


8- the number of hours our first date lasted
72- number weeks apart we are in age
165- Jon's heart rate when he proposed
225- record number of rushing yards in a single game that Jon holds at JU
586- the number of miles Lauren runs to train for one marathon
752- number of days Jon and Lauren have been dating up until today

What would yours be? I need a few more and I am thinking that if people post their own it will spark my brain because with 6 days until my wedding I am fried! Thanks!

# number of weeks (months actually) without a kiss <------keeping it clean.

But I just posted to say that I thought it was such a cute idea. I''ve never seen anyone do that.

4 - number of states we''ve lived in together
10 - number of roommates we''ve had
XXX - number of hours we''ve spent playing WoW (I''d have to look that one up!)
2 - number of classes we took together in college
33 - our first apartment number when we moved after college


I think it''s an awesome idea. I''m still thinking about different ideas we could use for our tables.

wow, it''s HARD to think of stuff! i think it''s neat you guys will have been together for 2 years and 22 days when you get married. i''m nerdy--anything where numbers repeat amuses me.

Thanks! It took us about 2 months to come up with 15 tables. We would e-mail them to each other when we thought of them and then we narrowed it down. Can''t take credit for the idea though, I saw it on the Indiebride site. They always have creative ideas.

It does sound that way LOL. I was just thinking of John's diamond hunt.

My numbers would be
3 = the number of states he drove to in his search for the right diamond.
8 = the number of diamonds he had called in at those jewelers to examine.
7= the number of diamonds that he decided were imperfect for our ring.
5= the number of hours he was late in meeting me the day he bought the diamond.
4= the number of years it took me to find the right setting for the diamond.
9= the number of years we've been together.


His hunt for my diamond is one of my favorite memories/ stories. I was just thinking of the guys on RT who post diamond after diamond after diamond for opinions, looking for just the right stone, examining the most minute differences, in their hunt for the perfect engagement ring.
