I am currently craving a pair of enormous peals with delicate diamond accents like these. I am also going down my Big List of Jewelry Desires, and I still have diamond studs and pear dangles on there. So it would come down to the decision ... one REALLY nice piece, or a couple of still-awesome but less important ones. I think I''d go for the pearls, and dangling bezeled pears, H, SI1, as large as I could go ....

Well, that or a Cartier tank watch. BTW, this is why I will never get bored - it is a long list!

Fantasy? I''d march into Tiffany and get the smallest Lucida bezel pendant they sell (around 3.5K) and then over to Cartier for my Inde Mysterieuse earrings (3.5K) annnnnndddd I''m done. But that would ONLY happen in a fantasy.

2)Dangly earings for going out that would loop onto the 0.6ctw studs- ovals/marques for the next drop and nice fat pears for the last drop.
3) Some daimond stackers, a nice watch or a nice old cut rhr depending on the funds left over (if any).

$3000 the biggest prettiest flower faceted OEC I could find and set in a James Meyer setting or JEG Sophie ring

I thought I answered earlier, but since I see I didn't--more dreaming for me! I would get:

1) 1.2-1.5 ctw diamond studs
2) an aqua asscher in a simple platinum solitaire
3) a five-stone band (1.25 ctw or so) OR a stacker with step-cut stones to keep my EC company
