My wonderful boyfriend travels for work and it's pretty rare that we spend long amounts of time together. However, he'll be home for a month late August/early September and I am thinking (though we aren't engaged) that we may end up getting married when we make a trip north to visit his family.
This is my second marriage (even though I am 27) and to me committing to him is far more important than my ring. We really never have time to get one. I know I will get one, but it probably won't be until after I'm his Mrs. However, I really want to wear a ring showing that I'm married. I've thought about buying an inexpensive wg or silver band to wear until we can buy a set, but then there's this sentimental side of me that wants the ring he puts on my finger to be the ring I wear forever.
I've thought of a few options:
1. Wait until we have my set purchased (but I don't wanna!)
2. Buy inexpensive ring and replace it (which makes me kinda sad)
3. Figure out what kind of e-ring I will get and just buy a band that will match it
Idea 3 sounds like the ideal thing to do. The problem is that I have absolutely NO idea what kind of ring I will end up with. Some days I'm feeling cushion in a halo. Some days I feel a round solitaire. Other days round with side stones.
Ladies, help!
