Hi Everyone,
I''ve been lurking for about 10 days and this is my first post. I''ve gained a lot of knowledge from reading members posts. Now my dilemma...I want to set my .78 carat round brilliant diamond. It was my grandmother''s engagement stone, and I''m using it for sentimental reasons. Although the stone is modest, I really want a spectacular setting. I''ve contacted Maytal Hannah and am waitng to hear back from her. I just got a quote and a design suggestion from Leon Mege. He suggested creating something llike image r917 http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=373
The setting involves colored stones, which I wasn''t originally considering (but it''s gorgeous). Lastly, I''ve come accross several Beverkley K settings that look great online. They are significantly cheaper than Leon Mege, but I haven''t seen them in person and can''t evaluate quality. Opinions? I would appreciate any input.
