Okay, if you were going to upgrade for your 20th anniversary and you want this to be your ONE and ONLY upgrade which means this is your forever ring and you have big fingers (size 9!) and you mostly wear jeans but you are kind of a diva
2.gif
so you love sooooo many different styles of rings which one of thse options would you choose?

#1 a set like DiamondSeeker2006, with a Brian Gavin signature diamond in a classic Leon Mege solitare setting and a Tiffany Legacy 2mm eternity band (this option seems very classic to me and a bit understated)

#2 this Tacori with a 1.25ct Brian Gavin Signutre diamond and a custom made baguette and round wedding band that matches the ring''s halo (this seems a lot more blingy but maybe trendy but....I could use the size on my big ''ol fingers, it also seems the most unique which I am sort of drawn to)

#3 a 2ct emerald cut in a split shank setting like royalasschergirl''s but with an EC instead (combo of classic and blingy and I think an emerald cut looks really good on my hand, even though my fingers are big they are also long)

I would appreciate your opinions very much. I absolutely LOVE every one of these options so I am having the hardest time deciding and it is driving me absolutely crazy!!

Oh my, I can see why you''d have a hard time choosing. They are all lovely.

#1 is one of my PS favorites. Very classic.

I have never seen #2 before and am really drawn to how antique it looks. What band would you put with it?

#3 may not be blingy enough for you. Only pick this if you LOVE LOVE the clear look of ECs.

HTH

I''d go for the solitaire a la diamondseeker.

Mine is all pave style now. My upgrade would be a simple solitare w/ a HUGE JUPITER size rock!

hi kimmy

I had the same issue as you, my taste varied and I liked so many different styles and cuts.
We went in ERD looking at EC''s and Cushions. If I could do it over, I''d like to see that
mind blowing EC Mark showed me !!

So my vote is for the EC. I love the classic look of it and I know me, I would have found
a way to "bling it up". After all, I''m in Texas too!

ooh,, so many beautiful options and different looks, #2 is sure unique and blingy! but I like the first option as you can always change it up a bit, if you wanted to with other stackers or so. So I vote #1

I always love a (nicely sized!) solitaire.

Number 2 looks too trendy to me. I''d go with number 1 or 3. Number 1 is the most classic and would stand the test of time the best. In addition, rounds look bigger than EC''s so you may be able to get a little bit more size out of number 1 in terms of appearance.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to answer! You have no idea how much time I have spent on this website...it''s INSANE!! You all have such gorgeous rings and your opinions really do matter to me. Keep ''em coming!!

Haha... I''m going to go against the crowd and vote for #2! I LOVE Tacori designs, and that one is gorgeous for sure. I don''t know if I''d call it ''trendy'', but I think it''s definitely got the highest bling factor out of all the ones you''ve listed. But no matter which one you choose, they''re all beautiful and you''ll have a gorgeous ring to wear forever!

I''d pick #3. Yum!

I like option #1!

I love, love, love DiamondSeeker2006''s set ... but if you''re going for size, I''d say go for the Tacori. A little halo never hurts!

I like 1 and 3 best, too. Like others have said, classic. When you are investing this kind of money into a setting, I personally think it should have a "timeless" feel. Also, I might be biased because I have a 6 prong round solitaire, but I think the extra prongs give it a little size boost.

(Although, rubbing against the WB might be a concern.)

Good luck-all beautiful options!

I luuuurve Diamondseekers set, so I vote for #1.

My favorite is the Tacori halo with the matching custom band. Good luck!

I would choose diamondseeker''s set. It is beautiful, classic and timeless. Can never go wrong with that look IMO!

I''d go with #3 because I love ECs. If you''re not a true EC lover, I''d go with #1.

Option #3, but I''m a step cut lover.

For me it would definitely be #2 with VS clarity baguettes. It''s absolutely lovely and uniquely different from the norm.

I love all the options...but considering this is going to be timeless and classic...I would go for either 1 or 3, with my top vote being #3.

I would probably go with #1...timeless!

Well, I guess I don''t need to vote

, but I wanted to thank you and others for the nice comments about my rings! I truly love them and feel that they are beautiful and classic enough for me to love the rest of my life. I strongly considered a Van Craeynest set, but I was soooo afraid I''d miss the simplicity of a more simple set (especially since my lifestyle is pretty casual). The other factor was that I could always get other bands to wear with this solitaire if I ever wanted some variety. I have not regreted the decision for one moment, although I''d still get the VC set as a second set if we win the lottery or something! ha!

That said, I love all of your choices...my problem was choosing just one option! I can''t wait to see what you decide!

I''d go with #3 because I love ECs. If you''re not a true EC lover, I''d go with #1.
DITTO! I can''t wait to see what you choose!

Hmm... decisions, decisions. I really love diamondseeker''s set #1 - as you say, it`s a classic and very versatile in terms of stacking. However, I keep scrolling back and forth to have a look at #2 Tacori again and again - it`s an amazing ring. I would be worried with the Tacori though, that after a while I might think it`s a bit ''too much''... While with the solitaire you can bling it up or down as you wish depending on the mood.

I would chose #2. I''ve never seen this design and it''s gorgeous.
I love the classic solitaire though too.

I would choose #2. That Tacori is stunning and I don't think it's trendy. It has more of an antique look, which have stood the test of time. I'm going through a similar decision right now

BTW I love Diamondseeker's set, too, and want to give it a hearty
