I am looking into a yellow gold right hand ring and keep stopping when I see this type of freeform style. Does anyone know what it’s called? These are both from Singlestone.

Absolutely love this simple and clean/modern look, but my initial thought was to get this one by CVB:

Two different looks, but the goal would be a bold, yellow gold ring for either my pointer or middle finger! Would love thoughts!

I think the top two rings are considered gypsy rings? But I’m not sure...

I think if there weren’t prongs it would be a gypsy ring but with the prongs it sort of looks more like cross between a Gypsy ring and a signet ring?

My opinion, which does not matter here of course , would be to get a style in your first or second picture - something chunkier- than the CvB style solitaire photo you posted if it’s for your right hand. It will look less bridal and more statement that way if that’s what you’re going for!

ETA: I love the top two inspo photos!

Yeah you’ve posted two different ring styles. I prefer the first two. Dk made one for a spinel recently.
A dome ring I think they’re called.

@lulu_ma @mjea @Niel thanks guys! This is helpful. I love the simplicity of the first two and the octagonal shape of the third. I’ll keep poking around but liked these examples as a place to start!

One idea might be a signet ring. They can be easy like the done ring but the flat top can lend itself to any shape- including hexagonal
