OhmyGosh! Amazing Stories! I haven't heard of that in so long! I remember I loved the show. I wonder if I could find it on DVD--those would be fun to watch!

HaHA! You know 'Night of the Comet!' Do you remember that made for tv movie called 'Dark Night of the Scarecrow?' I thought it was soo scary when I was little, and I haven't seen it since. I think they will be releasing it on DVD soon. There are so many superfun 80s movies!
I remember that!!! LOL, we must be close in age? I am in my very early 30's! hehe

eta: No you have me wanting to see an episode of 'Tales from the Darkside'

Oh gosh, I don't know, but maybe! LOL Coati, did you ever see Friday the 13th (not the movie) but tv show where they had an antique shop and it was kind of scary and they would solve weird mysteries?

Does anyone remember the old television show The Mother''s Inlaw?? That show cracked me up. It was with Eve Arden and I forget who the other actress was. The two were always sticking their noses in their married children''s lives. It was really funny.

who remembers the episodes about the woman that was beautiful and the rest of the world had pig snouts and she wanted to kill herself because she was so "ugly"...or the dracula doll show...had nightmares as a kid over that one.

Are there any Laurel and Hardy Fans??? I love these two. I stayed up until 3:00a.m. this morning watching a marathon of their movies on TCM channel.
9.gif
A few of these movies, I never saw before, I was laughing so hard, I was afraid I would wake DH up.

I think SevensOne is a fan, being they are her Avatar picture.

The 80s are back in such a major way. I love the pop culture--especially these shows, movies, music, and the video games, but I CANNOT deal with the fashion--and I see it everywhere!

Linda, did you watch the Friday the 13th tooooo? Funny!

haHa Skippy! I was a pretty good pegger MEself.

*ok Tales From the Darkside update*
I just watched 3 episodes on youtube. SO FUNNY! Man, the episodes sure have a lot of filler moments. Do you notice that those old shows move so sloowly? Shows today are so efficiently edited. But I love the charm of the old slooow show! I watched the Levitation one, the Alcoholic Dad episode, and the Monster in the Closet. I'm having a lovely lazy Sunday!

I wear glasses, and I'll never go big! NEVER!

Happy Sunday Skippy!

eta: Oh, the Twilight Zone Movie! Yes, I thought it was scary too! (bet it would be funny now!) The monster on the plane with John Lithgow! oooh I want to rent that now!

the dracula doll episode was about a father who goes to transavania for business and brings back a doll for his little girl and she wakes up one night to fing that the doll has "murdered"her other dolls and then he dosnt believe her

I also think they use to use super weird music for drama too. I thought the monster on the plane was freaky, in Twilight Zone the Movie. hehe I saw it recently and was still scared! LOL The one that creeped me out as a kid, was the boy that had his family in control of his every desire, that freaked me out! haha

Aren't they fun?!?! It is because of you I am watching them. teehee Thank you! If we had our own marathon, I could see us laughing our heads off! LOL

Pegged pants are sure different then the pegged pants when I was in high school. The boys used to peg them so tight if they would bend over, I swear they would split their pants in half.
