Aw! That''s just the kind of goofy, sweet thing I would love at my reception.Date: 4/29/2008 4:52:57 PM

Our first dance was several months later at our family reception, but it was Etta james, ''At Last''.
We chose or processional song based on a pure goofball moment, Chicago, ''You''re The Inspiration''. At the wedding of my cousin, the end of the reception came and the DJ played You''re The Inspiration, had everyone get in a huge circle holding hands around them, and then the DJ overlayed their vows over the song. It was actually really beautiful, and always struck me as the perfect wedding song. But, at the end, everyone ran at them to give them a huge hug - hence, the goofball moment.![]()

All of you have great song taste...many of these are in my car on CD.
Gypsy: Have you heard ''At Last'' by Eva Cassidy. I never thought I would like anyone singing it better than Etta James, but I really love Eva''s version. But then again, Eva''s version of ''Fields of Gold'' makes me cry because I just think of Michelle Kwan free skating to it after she lost the gold medal.![]()
My daughter hasn''t figured out her processional song yet, so she won''t even think about her dance song. Keep up this thread so I can help her out.![]()

It will either be Griffin House "Better Than Love" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4GYqDfOzMA - Seriously I always tear up when I hear this song. Or it will be Jump Little Children "By The Way They Dance." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maGuGFTmREs&feature=related (don''t understand the Final Fantasy thing, but it''s a decent version of the song.)
