My fiance and I are going this weekend to look at wedding bands for our July wedding. I probably should have thought about what type of wedding band I would want before we purchased my engagement ring, but I of course only thought about the e-ring at the time!
I have a 1.53 rb with a 1.8mm rosebud setting by Maytal Hannah. The setting has .52 carats of 1-pointers. I''ll see if I can attach a picture.
Here''s the problem - from the bands I''ve tried on so far, nothing looks good except for a band that perfectly matches the band of the e-ring. I love my e-ring, but I was *hoping* for something slightly more blingy and substantial that could be worn and stand up on its own. I love the pave on the e-ring, but I''d love to go for a more shared-prong look that will show a little more bling.
Any thoughts on what size diamonds I could get that would be a little wider than 1.8mm, bigger than 1-pointers, would be good as a standalone, but would look good with my e-ring? Pictures of semi-eternity bands will smaller diamonds that can be worn on their own?
Also, my e-ring is about a 3/4 eternity, so I''m most likely looking for something similar.
