Hi Ladies,

Again, I need your expert advice, so if you would be so kind, I would love some ideas of what you would put with these bridesmaid's dresses. They are double-layered fuschia chiffon, both with silver rhinestone brooches (even though one is missing since they all seem to be stolen from the store!

That's ROSS for ya! There are two different styles of dresses in the same bright pink color...

I need help with shirts for the guys (Maui wedding outdoors on grass or beach)

My 99 cent ebay dress is very white (if I could ever get it to fit right!)

What do you think would go well on the guys as well as flowers for me and my girls?

I was thinking cream with pale green accents, but I just don't know if that is too boring.

I was also thinking a light green button-down shirt with a Hawaiian motif for the guys, and my FI said he would wear a summer suit if need be. I told him it would just be for pictures and then he would be free to party like a rock star!!!

You are all so awesome I was hoping you would share some of your ideas with me. Thanks in advance for your time!

And without further ado, here are some pictures of the dresses...

ARRRRRRRRGH... I can't upload the pic... anyway, it's a boutonniere on a beige suit... green orchid with cyan hydrangae and the stems are wrapped in a matte, soft gold. I think green orchids look soooooooo stunning with that pink! I love those complementary color palettes!

My bridesmaids dresses are fuschia too Harleigh. I looooove that color! Cream and green sounds nice, but I would say since your wedding is in Maui, I would up the cream for yellow and green, or bright green with deep purple. They are more tropical to me and I don''t think it would be too much color-wise.

The green shirts for the guys sound great too. I seriously thought FH would go for green tie or vest, but he actually surprised me and went with the same fuschia color. Since there will be so much pink, I''m breaking it up with the flowers, which will be bright orange and green with a bit of dark purple.

I think Stargazers would go beautifully with your dresses, and I''m sure you could get the florist to add some light greens in there for you. That would look great!!! Beautiful dresses, it sounds like you got a great deal on your dress and the BM dresses!

If your dress is white I would steer clear of cream flowers.

My girls wore fuschia (aka J. Crew "beet") dresses & carried medium to hot pink flowers w/ some green. I carried a mix of white w/ pale pink and pale green, my dress was white- to me cream flowers beside a white dress would look like white flowers that were past their peak.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to post more than one image per post. But here is an idea of something with cream and green like you mentioned you were thinking about.

Thank you, ladies! Your advice is always great!

I suppose I should have ETA''d that I meant cream for my girls bouquets...I was thinking something with pink for mine, but who knows? I absolutely LOVE the look of those Stargazers...they are stunning!

I would love to see pictures of what you are doing...I am so much more of a visual person!

Thanks again for all of your help!

Here is one from an actual beach wedding. I like the way they tied in the beach grass too! You could always add cream as well!

That''s beautiful, Amanda! Thanks for sharing! That would look perfect in Hawaii!

Or...you could do the stargazers or whatever flowers you choose for you and cream for your girls like this...

I can''t get my pictures to post, they are too large! But as far as your flowers vs/ your girls flowers- you want your girls flowers to look good next to you and next to your flowers since you will be standing together in photos etc. That''s why I suggested no cream.

Ooh, Amanda, I like that idea even better! You are GOOD! Thanks again for your input!

One last one I found. I think this looks beautiful. You might have to omit some of the colors in there, but I think it's stunning!!! It screams tropical to me!
Sorry for so many posts though!

Thank you for trying dtnyc!

Do you think the above flowers look too creamy? I guess I need to compare some to my dress to see how much, if any, they clash. I was just hoping to avoid the BM''s flowers blending into their dresses. I may be better off to go with a completely different color...I guess that''s where I''m running into problems...

Hell, we can''t even get an actual wedding date set! Why I''m worried about the flowers right now, I''ll never know!

Thank you again for your help!

OMG, Amanda! NEVER, EVER apologize for TOO many posts! It''s members like you who make me adore PS!!! Thank you for all of your efforts, and that last bouquet looks beautifully tropical to me!

Did I mention I may have a brunette, two blondes and a redhead in my wedding??? I''ve given up trying to match all of them! At least they ALL look good in the fuschia color!

Green, pink and cream
Thank you, Sera! I really like the subtle pink flowers in that bouquet! That might tie in the fuschia dresses beautifully! I appreciate your help!

Wow, I have no other suggestions besides the standard greens to tie in with the fuschia dress, but I just wanted to say what a gorgeous BM dress you''ve chosen! Can I be a BM just to wear that dress, lol?! Ha! Your wedding is going to be just gorgeous, Harleigh, I''m so excited to follow your plans here and see what more you share with us. Have fun planning it all, and you''re doing a fantastic job so far!!!

I love the fushia and apple green!

It all looks fabulous and exotic.

I had some fun with photoshop... I would have picked a brighter green if I''d found it, but it could give you an idea! What do you think?

Hi Monnie!

You are so very sweet, as always! Thanks so much for your kind words! I am glad you like the dresses-I''ve been kind of worried about what people would think of them...since my girls all can''t really see them or try them on for me without shipping them back and forth, it has been very frustrating! They are REALLY stretchy, so I''m hoping they will all work, though my two larger girls said theirs fit fine (at least what they were able to try on)...one is already looking into SPANX after two babies and hitting the gym, though I don''t care about that-I just don''t want her to be uncomfortable!

Anyhow, I just love the dresses so much that I even bought one of the first picture for myself...you know, just in case I ever get to go to a formal Fireman''s Ball or maybe on a cruise??? They were only $24.99, so I couldn''t help it!

Thank you again for your kindness!

BTW, so glad to hear you''re enjoying your new job so much! Hooray for you!

Hi anchor!

I absolutely love the 3 colors you put together! I am going to have to try to figure out how to put together a collage of the colors along with some of those gorgeous bouquets and my dresses together. With 4 possible BM''s scattered all over the US, I would like to show them what I''m thinking of somehow. Since two of their responses has been, um, well, less than receptive to the dresses, I''d like to give them more of an idea of what I''m looking at!

You are talented, my friend! Thanks for your help!

Hmm...after seeing Anchor & Musey''s orange cravings, I''m thinking of trying to put them together with these pink dresses, which is the exact same fuschia color as David''s Bridal''s "Azalea" color...and mine were just $24.99! Woo hoo!

What do all of you think of including orange with this fuschia color?

I was curious to see if you''d made a decision so I came to check and I definately think you can pull the orange off with those dresses!!! Check this out!

A lighter orange...not sure what shade you were thinking. Forgive me for all the posts again, I don''t know how or if I can attach more than one image per post. :)

Decisions? I can't make any decisions!!! The BM dresses are truly the only thing I have that I think might actually work!!!

Thanks, Amanda...I love this first bouquet you posted! Maybe it's because it doesn't take up my entire screen, but the colors are lovely and not too bright, IMO. None of my girls are fond of orange, but it's not really their choice now, is it?

Thanks again for taking the time to help out...I really appreciate your suggestions!

ETA: Spoke too soon...you were still posting while I was yapping away, so I'll just add this in to my previous post...

OOhhh...no forgiving needed! Bring them on! I love the 4th one with the paler orange flowers, also! I am going to start a file so that when we DO get the plans set, I can send these to the coordinator in HI!!!

Thank you, thank you, Amanda!
