What to do with this sunstone?

Picked up this sunstone. Not expensive by any means but I like the schiller in it for sure. What should I do with it? Thinking pendant?

That looks like it would make a beautiful pendant! How big is it?

Sunstone is a little soft, so setting it in a pendant rather than a ring is a fine idea.

So not too big, too big for a ring for my personal tastes I think. Any ideas on a setting?

It might blend into your skin (depending on your skin color) if you wear it as a pendant against skin, so that’s something to consider. You could halo it so that the stone stands out more.

I think it would look nice in a simple basket setting. I can imagine it as a pendant hanging from a simple strand of small black spinel beads or small seed pearls.

Thanks everyone. Didnt think about it blending with the skin so i should consider this when setting. I will think on it but I also do like simple. The black spinel is also a good option. it did come in today here's a few unenhanced images. Its a cute little stone with some character indeed.

I have a catseye sunstone with schiller, and it blends into my skin. It’s a cool phenomenon stone, but that color disappears on me. Looking forward to your designs.

Ok here's what I'm kinda mulling: setting it long north south. That makes it 9 mm long 8 wide. I found a trillion cut green montana sapphire, not too green, a little light green greenish grey. Cut looks good but color isnt too strong, however neither is the sunstone so It wont overpower it. Setting the green 5mm triangle on top above the sunstone in yellow gold? Thoughts? Maybe some millgrain on the gold idk.
