What to do... same diamond different price!

So DH was ready to send in the wire transfer tomorrow for my upgraded e-ring. The price we got from ERD included a 14k white gold solitaire mount/ring.

But I happened to find the same diamond (pretty sure anyways) with the same measurements and statistics - but at a different vendor. Price is $530 cheaper.

ERD said they had the diamond on site, but now I don't know what to believe. So far they've been amazing to deal with, and I'd still prefer to deal with them. But if the GIA certificate (which I have requested from the other vendor) is the same, $530 is fairly substantial.

Should I say something to ERD? Granted the GIA certificate matches.

There is no harm in asking about the price difference. That is a significant difference if the GIA #'s are the same. Worth checking into... you never know!

ask for price match. They probably do have it onsite, and the other vendor will not be able to get it.

Thanks guys, I will give ERD a call tomorrow and post an update afterwards. Like I said, they've been amazing to deal with so far and I really want to give them our business.

Absolutely ask for a price match.
I found the same diamond listed by four different vendors on a PS search, and took a screenshot. I inquired through the vendor I've worked with before, and if I like the stone, I'll be 'haggling' the price, because they were not the cheapest.
No harm in asking.
