I usually work from home 1 day a week, and lo and behold now have a call in meeting late morning. Not sure if I can shift DD''s nap up---so I thought I get an idea of when others'' toddlers nap.

Janine--
J goes down regularly around noon to 1;45 pm when she''s in daycare.
At home, it''s usually around 3 pm.

It varies for M, but it''s usually one of those three time slots. Occasionally she won''t nap until 3pm, and some days, she doesn''t nap at all.

I''m just hoping it''s feasible to put her down earlier one day (11-1), but that would mean she might be more tired the rest of the day. Her usual routine is 1230-230.

The only time that J went down earlier is when she is sick or when we had to wake her up early that morning.
That's not to say it is not doable.
What time does she get up in the morning?

Jake does 12-12:30 - 2-2:30. I can usually push a nap back but never can move it earlier. He won't go down if I try to nap him too early. he just plays and then starts calling for me, over and over and over....you get the picture

she wakes up between 7 and 730. Occassionally she will sleep in till 8am. I may need to wake her up earlier or at least by 7.

My girls are on a 1-3 schedule at daycare.

Seriously, it''s pretty random. I put her down at the same time every day (or the people at daycare do on creche days) but some days she just sings in her crib for a couple of hours.

She goes down between 2-3 (which was not a poll option) and usually sleeps 2.5-3 hours. I am trying to move it up but it is difficult. Ideally she would go down 1:30-4:30.

Ever since she was a baby, whatever time she gets up in the morning, 3 hours after that. So sometimes nap is at 11, 12, or 1.

If it''s any time after 1, she''s usually not going to take a nap and will just go to bed earlier. She''s pretty consistent.

Savannah generally goes down at 11:00 and will sleep until around 1:30. There is a little variance, it depends on when I get them up. Gray fights me, and it probably takes me 30 to 45 more minutes to get him down.

D usually sleeps sometime between 11:30-12:30 and his naps last 1-2 hours. Sometimes he''ll take a late nap at 1 or 2 in the afternoon but that doesn''t happen often. At night he usually sleeps 7:30-7:30.

good to know some do nap earlier though. C goes to bed too late lately (rolls around for 45 mins before sleeping!), so maybe earlier nap will encourage earlier bedtime. Either that or I''ll have to get a Dora video and see if she stays entertained for 20mins, not sure how else to ensure she doesn''t yell out during the call. Sigh..

Amelia is on the same at home. Goes down at 1 and is up between 3 and 3:30.
