Hi all, and thanks in advance for the help!

I am looking to purchase a second pair of earrings. I currently have a 0.4 ctw AVC in my second holes and am looking to fill the first holes with something :Up_to_something: , preferably something I can wear most days.

The debate, what style to get? Budget around $1000, though I could be convinced for the right pair to go higher. I'm not sure if studs, drops, or huggies are what I should be looking at.

What would you recommend for 1st holes, studs, drops, huggies? To wear on a daily basis, I dress up most days for work (health care).

Thank you so much!! I have learned so much from this website!! :praise:

PS by drops I mean, a stone on wire or leverback earrings

Depends on your preferences and style but I love wearing hoops or huggies most days. It fits with my personal style and I like the bling factor. My hair is past my shoulders so the hoops stand out.

Could you post pics of your avc studs? I bet they are beautiful.

Missy, thanks for the suggestion!

Here's a couple of quick snaps of my earrings. I find them really hard to photograph. It's hard to capture how pretty the facets are

Gorgeous! Love the pillowy shape and lovely facets. :appl:
When you get a chance some ear shots would be nice and it might give some perspective on what earrings would work best in that first hole.

So this isn't the greatest shot but it gives you an idea.

Yeah! They're new to TIffany! I think they are head-turning/interesting look. She'd get the shine and style and maybe it won't compete with the other diamond earrings she has. Did you see how it would frame the 2nd pair of earrings? It sort of swoops upward onto the ear - pretty cool. See the picture if u scroll lower on that page, there is a model wearing it in her ear. You can see scale and how it really looks..... Plus she'd save a ton of $! :)

iluvdiamonds2, those are really pretty.

I love the shape and leaves :naughty: My only concern is that I mostly wear rose gold and yellow gold jewelry. I have a gorgeous yellow gold bezel set diamond pendent from JbEG, and all of my rings are rose/yellow gold. Would the silver clash with my yellow gold necklace?

Do you think 2 pairs of studs will clash too much? My holes are pretty close together...

Missy, thanks for the compliments on my earrings! I forget how pretty they are as I rarely take them out. :errrr: bad at cleaning them more than once a month. I love how they are square but can appear round from a distance

Hi! Just wanted to say that Tiffany has these earrings in yellow gold as well! This is such a romantic style! And it also has tiny little bezeled diamond :naughty: . I have these beaties in gold, so if you are interested I might take some real life shots for you. :wavey:

Hi~ I know they are hard to photograph but any more shots of those earrings I would love to see them.
Do you by any chance know the dimensions of those stones?

That looks to be the exact size I'm looking for. My second piercing, actually a re pierce is almost healed and I'm looking at AVC for my earrings.
I'm thinking RG bezels for them. It looks best with my coloring.
I mix rose and white gold often. My larger studs are RG bezels 2.5cttw and the smaller pair 2cttw are white gold prong set baskets.

Huggies are my everyday go to earrings and would look great with your AVCs.
You could get a couple pairs in different colored golds.

Agree with the huggies.

Thanks for the ear shot. I think huggies would look great with the AVC studs.

Efriede, thanks for suggesting the yellow gold. Those must be so pretty in real life!

Sparklelu, I'll try to grab some more shots today. Dimensions are about maybe 4 x 4 mm with the settings. I only have the computer ruler, so its hard to be much more accurate than that. For second holes, I think 0.4 ctw is perfect and wouldn't go much bigger.

Canuk-girl, those are amazing!!! Not sure if I could pull them off for everyday, but amazing!

tyty333 and aprilbaby, thanks for the suggestion of the huggies. I think I am leaning that way away from studs.

Diamondseeker, those are perfect! I looked at all the big sites and hadn't been able to find anything that caught my eye. But those, those might be a winner! :appl:

Missy, thank you so much for the suggestions! they are all so pretty. who knew there were so many gorgeous options!!

So I think I've narrowed it down to 2 options:

Diamond huggies :http://www.whiteflash.com/diamond-earrings/huggable-diamond-earrings-431.htm

Or these bezel drop style : http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/jewelry/yellow-diamond-earrings-48cts-w-x-vs1-round-brilliant-bezel-set-dangle-earrings-r4436

:naughty: maybe I should just do both
