I know a little about clarity and color but not too much about the cut of a diamond. Just looking for tips on what specs I should be looking for and what is acceptable on a RB diamond that is around .33. Thanks !!

Probably not too small of a table. 55+

OK thanks, so is it the bigger the diamond the bigger the table basically ?

No. Here's a bit of a guide to follow, and this applies to any size diamond.

Table 54-57
Depth 60-62.2
Girdle Thin, Medium, Slightly thick, or a combination thereof
Cut, Polish and Symmetry EX for GIA stones

or just stick with AGS0 stones if you want to play it safest.

Always look for best cut quality, a well cut diamond will not only perform better it''ll look whiter, cleaner and bigger. A nice feature with sizes < 0.50 ct is that the majority of SI1 and SI2 will be eye-clean.

Thanks Andy, I had wondered about that. Something smaller will really fit my lifestyle so I''m going to definately get something that is wearable, might still indulge and go for something in the VS range though LOL

Way to go... As long as your at it you might as well get yourself some french fries from McD''s (their cut is always perfect!) and a tub of Ben and Jerry''s Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream!
Enjoy!
