What sould I do with this diamond?

Hi. I''ve had this diamond for quite a few years. I don''t have any specs on it, but it measures 1/4" by 1/8". If I remember right, it''s a J or K color and around .25 carats. Any suggestions?

What a cool stone! Do you know what that cut is called?

My temptation would be to set it in a ring with brilliant cut traps on the side. But I *always* think RIIIIING! with every single stone that I see. Don't listen to me--go for the pendant!

ETA: The more I look at it the more I like it east/west. If you did do a ring with it set that way it would be yummy!

If it were a carat, I''d for sure say ring, too! But I generally think .25 is a little small for a ring.

T was told it was a "dutchess" cut. I liked the unusual shape, which is why I bought it.

If I put it in a ring, it would be set e-w. But I don''t have any idea what type of setting I''d get for it.

I''d also thought of a pendant, but don''t know if it''s really big enough. Again, how would I set it?

I''d also thought about making a ring for David, or a tie tac for him. Not sure if he''d wear a ring, but the last time I had him try on some diamond rings, I could see a sparkle in his eyes.

I''ve got so many stones that I need to start doing something with. Several of them should really be recut for their full beauty to come out.
