So this morning my DH is cooking for me (love that man) and he is playing music at top volume and we just cannot help dancing and all of a sudden the day feels much brighter than when I woke this morning...

Do you have a song that you must play at full volume and just makes you want to dance around and sing and makes you feel joyous?

Truth be told it's not just one song for me. It's many songs that do this for me. However, at this moment in time, we are playing Niel Diamond's "Cherry Cherry".

 
I know this sounds weird, but the first song that comes to mind is "Takin' Care of Business" by BTO (Bachman Turner Overdrive) All you oldsters know this song well!
I first heard this song in 1974, in the car, when my family was headed to Long Island to visit relatives. I have loved that song ever since. I has a groovy beat and the lyrics are funny and clever.

Both always bring a smile to my face without fail.

Sad songs are my specialty lol. I love listening to sad songs all day sometimes. I’m weird like that. But you’re right. That’s not a jump up and dance around the house song. :lol:
