What smells take you back your childhood?

Fresh Pine forest after a rain or in the early morning before the dew is gone. I spent my childhood and young adult summers in McCall, Idaho and there is nothing quite as invigorating to me as the smell of a forest, especially after a rain.

Forest for me also. We spent summers at Radium Hot Springs and the pine takes me back.

And Hawaiian Tropic oil. Hawaii over and over.

The smell of madhumalti flowers (also called Rangoon creeper, according to Wikipedia) and freshly mown grass; we had a small garden and the madhumalti grew all over one wall and garden cover.

The smell of different types of street food at the street vendors - golgappas, chhole bhature, paranthe, tikki chaat, kebabs, kathi etc. Was a real treat, we used to go every Saturday as a family to eat street food.

Incense, it used to burn everyday in my house.

Coppertone sunscreen. It makes me feel like I’m a kid again and at the beach with my family. I love the smell.

The smell of relish and jam being made.
Horses
Coconut oil for sun baking
Oil of Olay
Youth Dew (my mother still wears it)

Jergen's original lotion. That cherry almond smell!
