What size stones do you think?

My current plan as far as wedding bands are concerned are two narrow white gold bands either side of my plain 1ct solitaire. I was thinking of approximately 2 mm each. I would like between 9 and 11 stones on each band and my question is what size should the stones be in terms of carat weight. I want to up the bling factor on my finger, but don''t want it to overwhelm my solitaire stone.

i would do stones that are 3 points each.

so that would mean a total of around a third of a carat per band then?
