What size stone if I halo an OEC

Sorry to be one that ask your opinion so often

I am thinking that whatever I end up buying I will bezel the center stone in a square halo with white french cuts and colored single cut diamonds (pink or yellow). I wear a 6.5 so I do want to be able to wear this ring on any given day that I choose. With this in mind, I am looking at the 3.07 Q-R (9.3 range) that Good Old Gold has on consignment for Carmine, the 2.52 W/X (8.6-7 range) that JBEG has and a 2.82 LMN ( 8.8-9 range) that they just got in.

I have made contact with Robinson Goldsmiths in New Zealand about possibly doing the setting, or Victor Canera

I guess what I want your opinion on is if I end up going with the 3.07, am I going to have too much finger coverage with a halo?

Sounds delish! I have a 3 ct diamond w/ a 6.5 finger and I think it would look great w/ a halo, especially if VC executes it!

hmm I like the second stone- I feel like the color will look amazing with white side stones, and the size is big enough that with a bezel it will have presence but not be overwhelming.

I worked with JbEG to get my stone, and they were fantastic. Have you considered asking the designers (VC and RDG) what they think? Mike is amazingly creative, and depending on what you're looking for, mug be able to assist you with understanding which of those stones would look best in a halo.

How exciting that you're considering using RDG for a project! Let me know if you want any extra information about working with them. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been working with JBEG for the last 8 months or so, I consigned 2 rings with them and they have sold my EC diamond ring so I have some funds. I really almost feel that I should buy one from them because Grace has been wonderful, bent over backwards to make the deal work.
